About the job

Do you have the appetite for an exciting and educational student job in the central administration, and are you interested in politics, communication, nature and animal welfare? Then you might be one of the three student assistants we are looking for to our department!

About us

Denmark is facing a historic transformation. Large agricultural areas are to be transformed into forests, meadows and lakes. The coasts and fjords are to have cleaner water. This means that the map as we know it will change – with more nature, less impact on our nature and better animal welfare. You will therefore become part of a ministry that is working with one of the biggest changes in Denmark in recent times.

In the Office for Involvement, Communication and Progress we are in close contact and dialogue with the outside world – we are responsible for communication, press, ministerial visits and SoMe, and we are at the same time the link between the 23 local tripartites. That means that we work to create frameworks that make it possible for private foundations, companies, etc. to contribute to the large land-use reform.

About the positions

We offer an exciting student job close to the political decisions in the ministry. You will become part of a student team that supports the office's general tasks. The office consists of two heads of office and about 20 colleagues with different backgrounds. We are looking for 3 students.

Professionally we are looking for two different profiles – but please tell us very much about everything you can contribute with, regardless of your background. There is an opportunity to tailor tasks to your competencies, so please indicate in your application if you have special skills or experience from other student positions or the like.

We are looking for a communications profile who can help with…

  • Develop ideas and produce creative content for social media, from short texts and photos to infographics
  • Write informative texts for the web, SoMe and other communication channels
  • Work with the ministry's website and intranet, where you will publish, update and edit content in close collaboration with the person responsible for the website
  • Plan and prepare written material in connection with communication efforts, ministerial visits and events

We are looking for a social or natural science profile who can help with…

  • Answer inquiries within your task portfolio and respond to invitations
  • Participate in meetings around the country
  • Answer parliamentary questions
  • Convene, frame and run meetings with organizations etc. in collaboration with your team
  • Prepare ministerial letters and ministerial cases

We involve our student assistants broadly in our daily work, and you will have a fixed assignment in a team or a project.

About you

You are in the middle of a long higher education and we would like you to have at least one year left of your studies. You are mature and responsible and can take initiative as well as support others.

We also expect that you

  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong analytical skills.
  • Work systematically and independently
  • Have an interest in working in a political organization.
  • Have ambitions to develop yourself professionally and personally.

In addition, we place emphasis on you being good at collaborating and functioning in a work environment where we all contribute to a good everyday life – both professionally and socially.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations - The Public Sector and the associated collective agreement for Secretarial staff, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK).

It is a requirement that you are studying full-time to be employed as a student assistant.

The positions are normed to a weekly working time of 15 hours per week, which you can distribute over 2-3 days in collaboration with the office's student supervisor to fit the office's needs and your studies. There is flexibility regarding exam periods.

The employment area is the Ministry of Nature and Animal Welfare with its associated institutions.

The place of work is the Ministry of Nature and Animal Welfare, department, Holmens Kanal 22, 1060 Copenhagen K

The positions are to be filled as soon as possible.
