Students for the Social- and Health Care Education programs for Lemvig, Struer and Holstebro Municipalities

Struer Municipality is seeking students for the Social and Health Care educations with the start of education on 9 January 2027. If you already hold a completed Social and Health Care Helper education, the start date will be 12 December 2026 or 13 March 2027.

The educations alternate between school and on-the-job training. The school periods take place at the Social- and Health School in the Central and Western Jutland region. When you are in on-the-job training, you become part of the work community at the training site and you will work both evenings and weekends in accordance with the collective agreement.

The Social and Health Care Assistant education takes 2 years and 10 months. If you already have an SSH, the duration is shortened by 6 months.

The Social- and Health Care Helper education takes 14 months.

Admission requirements

• Completed SOSU basic course 2 or merit for it
• Or have completed the Social- and Health Care Helper education
• That you will have a study plan prepared, also with the study guidance at the SOSU School
• If you are over 25 years old, you must have done a recognition of prior learning (RKV). You can have your RKV prepared at the Social- and Health School with a study counselor.

The student position is 37 hours per week

• Any certificate of passing the Social- and Health Care Helper education
• Statements from previous employers and/or references

• Study plan and possibly RKV. Both parts will be prepared by an SOSU school
