Students for KP's new social media editorial team on Instagram

Do you scroll enough to know what works on Instagram? Do you keep up with trends, memes and new formats? And do you get ideas for a reel when you experience something funny, quirky or recognizable at your study? Are you also a student on one of our programs at Copenhagen Professionshøjskole (KP)? Then you might be the one we need in KP's new Instagram editorial team.

We want to see KP through your eyes

Who really knows best what it is like to be a student at KP? It’s our students.

Therefore we are gathering a SoMe editorial team of students who will help create content for KP's Instagram profile (@kbhprof). Here you’ll have the opportunity to turn your ideas into content that will be seen by thousands of current and (hopefully) prospective students.

You are not hired just to execute our ideas. It is your own ideas that should drive the content.

You will be part of a newly started editorial team of 4-5 students with an experienced SoMe editor who sets the direction. Together we will develop formats, spot stories and tell about KP in a way that is interesting to encounter in one’s feed.

What will you do?

The editorial team meets regularly for a monthly editorial meeting, where we together develop content, divide tasks and plan the production of the coming month’s content.

As part of the SoMe editorial team you will, among other things, be

• Filming and producing content both in front of and behind the camera
• Develop ideas for reels, memes and other Instagram formats
• Find stories and situations from student life that are worth telling
• Interview and involve other students and teachers
• Participate in editorial meetings where we plan upcoming content
• Collaborate with KP’s SoMe responsible to develop and qualify the content.

About you

It is a prerequisite that you are a student at KP.

Additionally, we expect that you actively use Instagram and have a good sense of what works on the platform. You keep up with trends and internet culture, have a good sense of what catches your attention, and can create content yourself that makes others stop scrolling.

We also expect that you

• Are used to producing content for Instagram
• Are full of ideas and have an eye for good content and visual communication
• Are engaged in what’s happening around our campuses
• Have the willingness to stand both in front of and behind the camera
• Can work independently and translate ideas into content.

If you have already created reels, TikToks, memes, videos or other content, that’s obviously a big plus - whether it has been for your own profile, a association, your study or something completely different.

The community

You will become part of a creative editorial group across KP’s programs together with 4-5 other students and an editor. Here you will get sparring on your ideas, feedback on your work and insight into what actually works. In addition there will be seminars and workshops where you can develop your SoMe skills.

Practical

We expect to start the editorial team in early 2027. The position is paid and includes about 8 hours per month, of which 2 hours are used for a monthly editorial meeting at Campus Carlsberg, while the remaining 6 hours are used to produce the content we have planned together at the meeting. It is expected that you deliver between 1-3 productions depending on their scope.

Salary and terms of employment

You will be employed as a student assistant starting 1 January 2027 or by agreement. The working time is about 8 hours per month and is arranged with flexibility in relation to your studies.

Your employment as a student assistant is governed by the Organisation Agreement for HK/Stat. It is a condition that you are study-active in a higher education program throughout the employment. The hourly wage depends on your previous employment within the office sector.

The workplace is located at Humletorvet 3, 1799 Copenhagen V.
