Student job: AI and coding

Who is Cand?

Cand creates development opportunities at the intersection of students and companies. We hire students from many different educations, and it is for both bachelor and master's students. The internship

In this internship you will help our partner develop AI- and automation solutions that connect the company's systems and data with new AI tools. You will have a central role in a concrete development project, where you will help build solutions that not only work in theory but are put into operation and used in daily life.

Your first big task will be to develop an MCP server that gives AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude the ability to fetch data from the company's ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX. For example information about inventory, sales and orders. You will thus work with coding, APIs, databases and secure access to the company's data.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop integrations and automations, among other things with n8n, and explore how AI can be connected with the company's existing workflows. You will work closely with the person responsible for e-commerce and AI as well as the company's IT staff, but you will also have great freedom to drive your tasks forward yourself.

Your tasks

• AI & software development: Develop an MCP-server that connects AI tools with data from the company's ERP system.
• Coding & integrations: Work with Python or TypeScript, SQL and APIs to get systems and data to work together.
• Automation: Develop automations and integrations, including using n8n.
• AI in business: Explore and build solutions where AI can support concrete business processes and make workflows more efficient.
• Data & security: Ensure that data is accessed and handled correctly, and collaborate with IT on access and operations.
• Documentation & further development: Document your solutions so they can be maintained and built upon.

The company

You will in the internship become part of an international trading company with own brands and around 80 employees. The company sells products across Europe and has a growing focus on e-commerce, AI and automation. You will work daily in Lystrup, where you will be part of a team that already has experience with Cand students and good opportunities for professional sparring and development.
