About the job

Are you keen to become one of Dagbladet Information's voices in public?

We are currently seeking a student assistant to read aloud, edit and publish a daily selection of audio articles on information.dk and in our app.

Who are we?

Dagbladet Information is a small newspaper with a big role in the Danish media landscape. As a staff member on the audio desk you will be part of a team of four student assistants tasked with reading aloud, editing and publishing Information's best stories in audio.

Who are we looking for?

● You are a confident reader with strong language skills and an understanding of how a text should be conveyed to function orally

● You have a nice and pleasant voice

● You are structured and good at working independently

● You study rhetoric or language subjects, are taking acting classes or have otherwise a relevant academic background that enables you to orally convey often difficult texts with a high lexical level

● You are flexible and willing to join a team that shares the shifts among themselves

● You are agreeable to evening work and a monthly Sunday shift

● It is an advantage if you have experience editing audio, but it is not a prerequisite.

What we can offer

● A challenging student job where you can learn something new every day

● A workplace where we are passionate about what we do and at the same time have fun

● To help develop the audio universe at one of Denmark's most exciting media workplaces

The job is hourly paid according to the agreement with HK, and we expect that you can work one to two evenings per week in the period 16:30 - 21:30, of course with flexibility around exams. Dinner is included.

Does that sound like something for you? Then send a short application and your CV via the 'Søg stilling' button.

As part of your application we would also like to hear your voice. Therefore we ask you to attach an audio sample in which you read the following article aloud:

VAT exemption for eco fruit and vegetables: Yum for health, climate, drinking water and your wallet

Questions about the position can be directed to digital editor-in-chief Kim Schou at phone 31757456 or audio editor Rasmus Bo Sørensen at phone 25618575.

The application deadline is Thursday 22 October. Start as soon as possible.
