Supervisor for cleaning at Sankt Knuds Gymnasium in Odense

Renas Rengøring søger en engageret og ansvarsbevidst supervisor til vores rengøringsopgave hos Sankt Knuds Gymnasium i Odense.

We are looking for a supervisor who can combine practical cleaning work with daily management, coordination and quality assurance. You will become the daily person responsible at the location and will be responsible for a fixed team of 4-6 cleaning assistants.

The position is a permanent full-time job at 37 hours per week. Cleaning takes place mainly in the afternoon. In connection with events and other occasions, other working hours may apply.

Your responsibilities

Quality assurance and control

• Ensure that the agreed cleaning quality is delivered daily
• Carry out daily quality checks in selected areas
• Ensure that all premises and areas are checked at least once a week
• Initiate defect corrections and extra cleaning when necessary

Leadership and task distribution

• Lead and allocate the daily work among the 4-6 cleaning assistants
• Plan and reorganize tasks according to the concrete needs at the gymnasium
• Make decisions about a flexible task solution
• Ensure that employees' tasks can be adjusted when changes or special needs arise
• Ensure an efficient and flexible cleaning during the day

Employee management

• Monitor employees' working hours and attendance
• Call in replacements and extra staff as needed
• Ensure proper instruction of new employees and substitutes
• Follow up on employees' daily work and tasks

Communication and reporting

• Receive daily reporting from the cleaning assistants
• Submit daily reports to Renas Cleaning's service manager about daily operations, staffing, quality and any challenges
• Inform Renas' service manager about the need for replacements, extra staff, shortage corrections or extra cleaning
• Liaise with the gymnasium's contact person about daily cleaning and any wishes or changes
• Deliver an oral absence notice to the gymnasium's contact person once a week

You will be both a leader and a part of the cleaning team

As a supervisor you are expected to actively participate in the cleaning work at the location when necessary. The practical cleaning is therefore also a natural part of the position.

It is important that you can maintain an overview and perform your leadership and coordination tasks while also participating in daily cleaning.

• Are structured and good at planning
• Can take responsibility and make decisions in daily life
• Are flexible and can re-prioritize tasks when the situation requires

• Are good at communicating with both employees and the customer
• Are reliable and responsible
• Can work independently while also motivating and collaborating with a team
• Have a desire to take responsibility for the daily operation at a fixed location
