Supplier Development Specialist – be part of developing our strategic supplier collaborations

Do you want to help develop strong supplier relationships and create improvements that make a real difference? At Evida we are looking for a Supplier Development Specialist under our Procurement organization, who will help elevate collaboration with our strategic suppliers.

You will play a central role in strengthening the collaboration with our strategic and critical suppliers and deliver results through close dialogue, joint development initiatives and a strong cross-functional collaboration in the organization.

You create development through collaboration

You will work at the intersection of procurement, operations, quality and technical disciplines. Here your main task is to translate knowledge about suppliers' performance, quality and risks into concrete improvements that strengthen both the collaboration and Evida's business.

You will have independent responsibility to drive selected supplier relationships and development programs, but your results are created in close cooperation with both suppliers and colleagues across the organization.

Your tasks will include

• Drive and develop the collaboration with selected strategic and critical suppliers with focus on long-term value creation.
• Identify and implement improvement initiatives within for example supply security, quality, performance and risk management.
• Work in a structured manner with supplier follow-up, KPIs, development plans and ongoing performance dialogue.
• Gather relevant stakeholders from procurement, operations, quality and technical disciplines around common goals and improvement actions.
• Analyze supplier performance and translate data and insights into concrete actions and measurable results.
• Contribute to further developing our processes and methods within strategic supplier management and supplier development.

You have an eye for both relationships and results

We envisage that you have several years of experience from a role within strategic purchasing, Supply Chain, supplier development, Supplier Relationship Management or Supplier Quality. Perhaps you have already worked independently with strategic suppliers, or perhaps you have built experience with improvement work and supplier collaboration, which you now wish to bring into a more development-oriented role.

Your professional background is not decisive. What is important is that you understand what creates a well-functioning supplier collaboration, and that you can translate challenges and opportunities into concrete improvements.

We particularly emphasize that you

• Have experience with supplier management, supplier development or improvement work in a purchasing, quality or Supply Chain function.
• Have an understanding of supplier performance, including delivery reliability, quality, lead times and risks.
• Work in a structured and analytical manner and can use data and KPIs to identify development opportunities.
• Have a good commercial understanding and view for how a strong supplier collaboration creates value.
• Thrive in coordinating and driving activities across different disciplines and stakeholders.

As a person you are relationship-oriented, curious and persistent. You are good at building trust and getting people on board, even when they have different professional perspectives and priorities. You naturally take ownership, follow your initiatives through, and are motivated by seeing your work lead to concrete improvements.
