At Borum we develop and manufacture road marking machines for customers all over the world. Our machines are known for high quality, reliability and long service life. This places requirements on our purchasing. Therefore we are looking for a technical purchaser who can create value through strong supplier relationships, technical understanding and a structured approach to purchasing.

Your role

As a technical purchaser you will be responsible for procurement of components, spare parts and materials for our various departments. You will become an important partner for suppliers and our production, spare parts, service, development and sales departments.

Your primary tasks will be

• Procurement of technical components and materials.
• Planning and follow-up with suppliers.
• Creation and handling of productions for subcontracting work.
• Handling of complaints and quality deviations.
• Maintenance of purchasing data in BC365.
• Identification of improvement and optimization opportunities.
• Negotiation of prices, terms and agreements.
• Handling of freight and shipping documents in dialogue with freight forwarders and partners.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience with technical procurement.
• Has understanding of technical components and can read technical drawings.
• Works in a structured way and follows through on tasks to the end.
• Is a strong relationship builder.
• Takes responsibility and finds solutions.
• Masters Danish and English in writing and speech.
