We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking profile who can drive the development of our stores and store chain operations. You should have a strong understanding of processes and standards, as well as the ability to turn wild ideas into concepts and present them to the management group – all within a store context.

At Würth we work from what we call customer contact points. The concept refers to the various interaction setups between us and our customers, including physical store visits, online shop, and our growing store chain, which today consists of 50 stores. All of our customer contact points have a functional lead with strategic responsibility for the area. In this role you will step into the strategic functional responsibility for the customer contact point that covers our entire store chain.

As Chain Manager at Würth Denmark you will be responsible for ensuring that we have the right setup in the stores so that it is scalable and easy to streamline. You will work strategically to develop effective chain operations and good standards, and you will lead our shop expansion team, which including you consists of three colleagues.

Strategic collaboration with the sales leadership 🤝

You will work closely with the sales leadership and marketing managers to reach our ambitious growth targets. Your main task will be to ensure that our store chain continuously develops in line with our overall strategic direction. You should have experience with strategy and concept development and be able to build a strategy that makes our stores more than just stores.

What we are looking for 🔍

We are looking for a profile with

• Minimum five years of experience in store operations and store development.
• Experienced leader and stakeholder manager.
• High level of conceptual and strategic skills.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Higher education at a minimum bachelor level.
• Commercial experience.
• Passion for stores and chain operations.
• Experience from the construction industry or related sectors is a big plus.

We are looking for a candidate who can revolutionize the way we operate our stores. You will be the guarantor of innovative solutions and streamline workflows and processes so that our sales organization has the optimal conditions for sales work in the stores. You should be a proactive sparring partner for the sales leadership, marketing managers, and product managers, and it would be a big plus if you have knowledge or experience from the construction industry or related sectors.
