About the job

Do you want to use your health-care knowledge to educate the next generation of foot therapists? We are looking for a teacher with a background in, for example, nursing or physiotherapy for a 30-hour-per-week position.

At the Foot Therapist School Copenhagen we have increasing student intake and are therefore seeking a new colleague for our teaching team. You will contribute with the health-care knowledge that gives students a solid foundation to understand the body, diseases and the encounter with the patient. You do not need to be trained as a foot therapist. We are specifically looking for a colleague with another relevant health-care background.

About the job

You will teach in anatomy, physiology, pathology, dermatology and psychology. We are interested in hearing which of the areas you can contribute to most with your education and experience.

Your teaching should support the remainder of the theoretical and clinical part of the foot therapist education, so students gain an understanding of the human body – with particular focus on areas relevant to a foot therapist, e.g. circulatory system, nervous system, musculoskeletal system and relevant common diseases such as diabetes and arthritis. You will become part of a teaching team that collaborates to create high-quality teaching with awareness of students’ different prerequisites and learning outcomes.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • planning, delivering and developing teaching within the relevant health-care subjects
  • linking theory to examples and problems from the foot therapist’s area of work
  • organising the teaching so that students with different prerequisites can participate and develop academically
  • collaborating with colleagues on teaching sequences and materials
  • participating in team meetings, pedagogical days and joint development tasks.

You will meet students of different ages and with different cultural and social backgrounds. It requires curiosity about the individual student and a willingness to find different paths to understanding and learning.

About you

You are trained as a nurse, physiotherapist or have another relevant health-care background. You are keen to share your knowledge and apply your professional skills in an vocational education environment.

We emphasize that you

  • have a solid professional foundation within relevant parts of anatomy, physiology, pathology, dermatology or psychology
  • are eager to convey professional material and make it applicable for the students
  • build good relationships and meet students and colleagues with an appreciative and engaged approach
  • thrive in a varied everyday life and take responsibility for your tasks
  • are willing to share knowledge and engage in close, professional teamwork.

We offer

You will become part of a teaching team where we collaborate on the students’ learning and the development of teaching. You will have the opportunity to use your health-care background in a new context and contribute with your perspective on educating future foot therapists.

We provide collegial training in the relevant subjects and an introductory program, which among other things includes a pedagogical introduction to the work as a teacher. You will thus receive support to get started well with the teaching assignment.

Employment terms and application deadline

The position is 30 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027 or by arrangement. Salary, pension and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

If you want to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact principal Mette la Cour Sell at telephone 24 64 09 62 or [email protected].

Send your application with CV and relevant documentation no later than Monday, November 19, 2026. Hiring interviews will be held with selected applicants by agreement.
