About the Job

As of January 1, 2027, Tåsingeskolen, Lundby department, is seeking a class teacher/Danish teacher for 5th grade. The position includes Danish, English, history, Christianity and art. The weekly schedule also includes a wellbeing period together with your team colleague and two weekly co‑teaching hours with a Danish colleague. In addition, time is allocated for opportunities for joint preparation.

About us

The Lundby department is the smallest department at Tåsingeskolen and is located in the middle of Tåsinge, a 10-minute drive from our larger department Sundhøj on Eskærvej. The school has recently been renovated as well as our large play area, which is continually expanded and maintained. We have a sports hall and the Public Library has a branch at the department, so you will experience truly nice surroundings for the work.

There are 23 affiliated staff members to the department’s school and after-school program (SFO). Four of these colleagues also work at the larger department by choice, where we also have a close collaboration with our joint mentor team.

In addition, there is shared administration and a staff of service workers.

At Lundby department there are about 125 children and we have active parent cooperation with a positive parent group that supports their local school department in many ways.

We have a morning song three times a week and see this as an important element in the school’s community-building.

Tåsingeskolen as a whole is known for being a school with exciting development projects for both children and adults - we collaborate with local upper secondary schools, local businesses and not least with our local associations and cultural life. In other words, there is energy in a fun way.

The school's development strategy and direction in recent years has a particular focus on open and investigative didactics with a playful approach and co-teaching.

Salary and Employment

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically ranges between DKK 47,123 and DKK 59,797 per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday entitlement and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special payments. It is important to note that your specific salary is determined based on your experience, seniority and competencies and agreed upon in negotiation with the relevant trade union.

HR Department will obtain a criminal record check and a child protection background check for the applicant who is hired. It is a condition of employment that the certificates are satisfactory for the position. The assessment is carried out by the Legal Department in cooperation with the Director of Children and Youth in Svendborg Municipality.
