The DEA Think Tank is seeking an intern

DEA is an ambitious, non-profit think tank that, independently of special interests, produces knowledge, debate and networks on the child sector, primary education, secondary education, higher education, as well as research and innovation. It is our ambition to strengthen the basis for decision-makers and practitioners to make informed decisions for Denmark. We are a small organization that loves high professional standards as much as a great atmosphere.

Interested in working with the theme of deeper engagement in the education system

We are planning a major initiative around deeper engagement in relation to education. We will dive into what triggers curiosity, concentration and a desire to learn in a time marked by new trends and technologies. The effort includes networking, events, research and knowledge work. The tasks will span a wide range:

• You contribute to a range of professional events, e.g., conferences and networks, which you will naturally also participate in
• You will have the opportunity to try your hand at exciting analyses, e.g., through surveys and interviews
• You practice translating your analytical and methodological skills into societal and political impact
• In DEA there are many balls and ideas in the air. If you are creative with many ideas for, e.g., parties, staff events or similar, you will have ample opportunity to develop them at DEA

About you

We are seeking a student who is pursuing a relevant social science degree

• You are keenly interested in education and learning, and what the latest trends and technologies mean for our ability to deepen our engagement
• You love facilitating collaborations between actors and institutions, both when it comes to concrete issues and the big lines in society and contemporary times
• You thrive in the role of a mini-project manager and enjoy being proactive and taking responsibility
• You find it exciting to convey complex connections in a simple way
• You thrive in the role of a mini-project manager and enjoy being proactive and taking responsibility
• You have a flair for knowledge work and analysis and want to improve yourself
• You are in the final part of your bachelor’s degree or at the start of your master’s degree and would like to try your hand at working in a think tank through an internship program in spring 2026, where you will have the opportunity to participate in daily work, while we promise you a program focused on mutual learning, feedback and a safe environment

Application

We offer a weekly working time of between 30 and 36 hours in the spring semester depending on the guidelines for internships or project-based programs in your education. And you also get to work at one of Copenhagen's best addresses right near Nørreport Station
