Take the lead aboard - become a supervisor on the Scandlines ferries in Rødby

Can you get a team to work well together and deliver good results? And would you like a day-to-day life aboard a ferry, where people, service and cleaning come together?

At Forenede Service we are looking for an engaged supervisor for our Scandlines contract in Rødby. Here you get a workplace with sea views, life and movement – and an important role in creating clean and pleasant surroundings for the ferry’s passengers.

You will be part of the daily life aboard, where the ferry’s rhythm sets the framework for the work. It requires an overview, collaboration and a team leader who can get everyone to pull in the same direction. In return, you’ll have a varied workday where you can clearly see the difference you and your team make.

"You will have your daily life in the special environment aboard the ferries, where there is room for humor and a strong sense of community among colleagues as well as the staff on the ferries," says district manager Heino Hansen.

Lead from the front – as a team leader and colleague

Your most important task is to ensure that the employees know what to do, have the right prerequisites and feel like part of the team. You assist the service manager with daily leadership and are close to the staff with clear direction, support and follow-up.

You know the tasks and lead by example. The rest of the time you work with supervision, coordination and quality assurance.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Create an overview and help coordinate the team’s daily tasks.
• Motivate and support the employees so that the collaboration functions – even when the pace is high.
• Supervise and follow up that the cleaning meets the agreed requirements.
• Take on challenges and contribute to solutions in daily operations.
• Carry out cleaning together with the team and ensure a high standard aboard.

You have an eye for both people and quality

You thrive on taking responsibility and can combine a friendly approach with clear expectations. You notice the details, but still keep an overview and help the team prioritise.

It is not essential that you have experience with cleaning, but it is a plus. It is more important that you want to work with coordination and leadership – and are ready to take responsibility for a team.

The position is full-time. Working hours are mainly during the day, but evenings and weekend work can occur.
