Tarm School seeks mathematics and science teacher for the middle school

About the position

We are looking for a academically strong team player who takes responsibility, brings their competencies into play and actively contributes to our common academic development. Mathematics is your primary teaching competence, and if you also have teaching competencies in the natural sciences, it is particularly relevant.

We are looking for you who

• are a qualified teacher with mathematics as your major – natural science would also be an advantage.
• have teaching experience from upper primary/secondary – preferably with experience in co-teaching
• are a clear classroom leader who creates structure, security and good frameworks for teaching
• are pedagogically and didactically curious and want to develop your practice together with colleagues
• commit yourself to students' both academic, versatile personal and social development
• build good relationships and communicate clearly with students, parents and colleagues
• meet everyday life with a positive and solution-oriented approach – also when things go differently than planned.

Tarm School has a total of 430 students distributed across two departments. About 150 students attend 7th–9th grade in the Upper School. We are facing an exciting development with renovation of the Main School. When it is completed, the upper secondary will move in there, and the entire school will be gathered on one site.

Practical information

The position is full-time with the possibility of flexible working hours on several days of the week.
