Teacher in physics and mathematics for HTX in Aabenraa

Are you passionate about physics and mathematics at a high level, and would you like to share and convey this passion with young people at HTX in Aabenraa?

We have an updated physics laboratory with good opportunities for experiments, and you will become part of a team with competent and engaged teachers in both subjects.

With us you become part of a gymnasium where theory and practice go hand in hand. We work project-based, interdisciplinary and with focus on real-world problems.

HTX in Aabenraa is a well-run gymnasium with students showing great interest in physics and mathematics. The gymnasium is part of EUC Syd, which also offers HTX in Haderslev, Tønder and Sønderborg. We are around 40 teachers and 400 students at HTX and at International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma Programme) in Sønderborg. It creates a teaching environment with high professionalism, international outlook and great variation in everyday life.

• have teaching competence in physics and mathematics and can teach at both A- and B-level.
• are passionate about making science relevant, understandable and tangible for young people
• thrive with interdisciplinary collaboration and project-based teaching
• contribute positively to community, sparring and development in the teaching group
• want to be an ambassador for HTX and help attract new students to the programme.
