Technical Manager for Operations and Facilities – Municipal Properties

As the technical manager you will play a central role in the daily operation and maintenance of our buildings. You will follow tasks all the way – from acute technical problems to planning of maintenance and energy optimization projects.

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for the technical operation and maintenance of the municipality's buildings. Your tasks will include:

• Ensure stable operation of technical installations (both planned maintenance and urgent tasks).
• Coordinate installations within ventilation, VVS, heating, electrical, fire and CTS.
• Procure and follow up on craftsmen and external contractors.
• Manage smaller construction projects and energy-saving initiatives from idea to handover.
• Advise users on technical solutions and register tasks in our FM system.

Our expectations of you

We are looking for a person who is approachable, collaborative and has a strong personal commitment.

We imagine that you

• Are educated as a marine engineer (maskinmester), engineer, energy technologist or have another strong technical background.
• Have experience with technical operation and maintenance of buildings.
• Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing overview.
• Are good at collaborating across and communicating with many different users.
• Skilled in writing , preferably with experience in preparing procurement materials and be well-formed, including familiarity with digital systems such as the MS Office suite and preferably an FM system
• Have a driving license (B) , which is necessary to visit properties in the municipality.

• Salary and terms: This is a fixed-term position for 1 year. Full-time, 37 hours / week.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement between the Danish Local Government Association and your trade union.
