Technical spare parts assistant for maritime and industrial service

Hytek A/S seeks a technically strong spare parts assistant for our warehouse and service function

At Hytek A/S we service the maritime and industrial sector with, among other things, hydraulic solutions, service and spare parts. We continue to experience growth and therefore seek a new spare parts assistant for our spare parts warehouse.

You will become part of a small team consisting of our warehouse manager and yourself. Together you ensure professional and efficient servicing of our fitters, customers and partners.

We are looking for a person with a technical or craft background who understands the products and solutions we work with. Not a traditional warehousing profile.

Your tasks

You will have a varied day with both technical, administrative and customer-facing tasks, including:

• Ordering spare parts and stock control
• Requesting prices from suppliers
• Quotation calculation and providing quotes
• Quality control of goods and components
• Dispatches and documentation
• Approval of order-related purchase invoices
• Preparation of orders for invoicing
• Sales and follow-up with existing customers
• Customer service at the warehouse and on the phone
• Production of hydraulic hoses and smaller technical tasks
• Insight into safety procedures when using chemicals and machines

We expect that you

• Have a relevant professional background, e.g. as shipwright, tractor mechanic, truck mechanic or similar
• Have experience from the maritime or industrial sector
• Have technical understanding and interest in spare parts, hydraulics and mechanical components
• Work in a structured way and have a focus on quality
• Can maintain an overview in a busy daily life
• Are flexible, adaptable and can work independently
• Have a positive and service-minded approach to customers, partners and colleagues
• Are reliable and responsible
• Have a B driving license and forklift certificate
