Technician with commercial drive

You will have a technical role with a clear commercial angle. It is not a classic sales position, but you must see opportunities, take initiative and understand how your technical recommendations create value for both the customer and the business.

Who are we?

Armatec is a technical sales company with projects in energy, utilities, biogas and process industry. We help, among other things, companies working with the green transition. We are about 55 employees distributed across offices in Glostrup and Vejle and part of a Nordic, family-owned group.

For us, good solutions are built on solid product knowledge, broad system understanding and technical insight – and on the ability to tailor the solution to the customer's concrete needs.

Your tasks

You will become a central technical resource in Vejle and have influence on the solutions we recommend. You take ownership of the technical clarifications and work closely with sales, workshop, warehouse and suppliers. Your main tasks will be to:

• Take responsibility for advice, selection and sizing of valves, materials, actuators and accessories.
• Translate technical insight into strong solution proposals and create momentum in offers and projects together with sales.
• Advise on electric actuators, positioners, end-stop switches and related solutions.
• Ensure technical documentation and correct product data, including STEP files and data in the PIM system.
• Drive the technical claims handling in dialogue with customers and suppliers.
• Actively contribute to internal and external technical training.
• Take product responsibility for selected product areas and help develop the technical solutions.

Your professional qualifications

We imagine that you have a technical education – for example as a mechanical engineer, process technologist, automation technician or similar – and preferably a couple of years' experience in the industry. Knowledge of valves, actuators, automation or process plants is a clear advantage.

Electrical understanding is valued, as many of our solutions include electric actuators, positioners and end-stop switches. It is an advantage if you can read electrical diagrams and have knowledge of control signals and digital communication. An electrical/engineering background is a plus, but not a requirement if your other technical profile is strong.

You dare to ask the critical questions, challenge a proposed solution and explain to the customer the value of the right choice. You communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and colleagues and are proficient in Danish and English in writing and speaking. You are familiar with IT systems. Experience with CAD is an advantage, but not a requirement.
