About the position

You will be responsible for the daily production of both cold and hot buffets and ensure that the food is of high quality, tastes good, and is nicely presented – in close collaboration with your colleagues.

• Your regular workplace is: Karup Air Station.
• The position is 30 hours per week.
• Your working hours will primarily be in the period 12:30-20:00, Monday to Thursday.
• Weekend work will occur.

You must be able to present a journeyman’s certificate in gastronomy with a specialization as cook, catering, nutrition assistant or another relevant professional qualification.

• Driver's license is a requirement.

Employment terms

Note: the position is fixed-term from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027.

The employment is governed by the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations – The Public Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the collective agreement for diet-related trained personnel – kitchen, concluded between the Ministry of Taxation, CO10 - Central Organization of 2010 and The Professional Joint Federation (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is an opportunity for negotiating allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Karup.

As an employee within the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.

The Establishment and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical environments that are necessary for their daily work.
