Be part of moving the bar for quality and testing

As a Test Specialist you will be a central driver in ensuring quality of our IT stack, which supports our core processes in sales, order handling, provisioning and customer management. You will play an important role in ensuring the quality of both new solutions and existing functionality, while contributing to the further development of our test automation and quality assurance practices.

You will work closely with Test Specialists, Test Manager, Application Specialists, Product Owner, external supplier and the business. You will serve as an important bridge between manual and automated tests and the supplier's development and test teams. Here you will have influence and the opportunity to make your mark on the quality of some of our most central platforms.

Your daily life with us

As a Test Specialist you will have a key role in ensuring high quality and stable deliveries. You are at the forefront when new functions and features need to be tested and quality assured in close collaboration with the business and specialists. At the same time you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our test capabilities and create a stronger foundation for quality in our deliveries.

Your responsibilities will be

• Develop and maintain test cases and test data
• Contribute to the development and expansion of our automated regression testing
• Work with API contract testing, integration testing and other modern testing methods
• Ensure good integration between test automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Help improve test strategy, test design, test methods, test frameworks and test architecture
• Contribute to strengthening test maturity and quality across the organization

You will be based at our office in Aalborg.

Test Specialist with a focus on quality, automation and complex systems

We are looking for a colleague who can recognise themselves in the following

• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Test Specialist, Test Automation Engineer or similar role, where you have worked with testing in complex IT landscapes
• Have an understanding of system integrations, data flows and the connection between business processes and IT systems
• Have an interest in and experience with test automation and modern testing methods
• Are able to challenge deliverables on quality and requirement fulfillment
• Thrive with both hands-on testing work and the opportunity to influence processes and ways of working

It is an advantage if you have experience with

• BSS systems or telco processes (CRM, billing, order management etc.)
• Jira, Xray, Zephyr, HP ALM or similar testing tools
• API testing and tools such as Postman
• Collaboration with external suppliers
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing as part of the delivery process
• ISTQB Foundation certification, TMAP or similar
