Asylum Daycare is seeking a pedagog or pedagogical assistant with start by agreement.

Asylum Daycare is seeking an engaged staff member who has a desire to create safe surroundings, presence and developmental activities for children from Ukraine.

The work is varied and takes place in an unpredictable daily life, where the group of children, the children's needs and the length of stay can change. We therefore seek a staff member who is flexible, curious and can adapt the pedagogical work to the current group of children.

Asylum Daycare is part of Children & Pedagogy under the area Special Daycare/Integration Efforts.

The playgroup is physically located at Vadehavsskolen in Hviding and is a service to the 3-6 year olds who, together with their families, live at the Hviding asylum center.

Asylum Daycare is closed week 29 and 30.

Requirements

• Qualified pedagogical assistant/pedagogue, preferably with experience from the multilingual area and knowledge/experience with children who reside at an asylum center
• Work independently while also engaging in close collaboration with your colleague
• Knowledge and experience with children of a different ethnic origin. As well as knowledge and respect for different cultures.
• Willingness to seek knowledge and learn new things
• Can maintain an overview and find solutions in an unpredictable and varied daily life
• Experience with pedagogical work with children of a different ethnicity and their parents can be an advantage
• Ability to reflect on one's own practice and be willing to adjust based on observations, professional sparring and what the child group calls for
• Able to draft ICS statements etc. in a clear and professional language/pedagogue
• Good IT skills

• Be adaptable, for example concerning children being enrolled for shorter or longer periods

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local wage formation.
