About the job
As several of our colleagues over many years have chosen to take a well-deserved early retirement in the coming months, we are seeking colleagues for permanent positions.
The positions have a start date of January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The health visiting service in Esbjerg is characterized by numerous exciting professional challenges; we highly value development, professionalism and integrity, and we work in a blended arrangement.
The health visiting service consists of 31 health visitors and one administrative staff member. We are organized into three teams, and there is a team leader attached to each team, who together with the head of the Health Visiting Service (a qualified health visitor) and the area manager for Children & Health form the overall management.
We can offer a workplace where
- We focus on the early preventive and health-promoting efforts for children and young people, and we work closely with our interdisciplinary partners to develop this effort
- We are a permanent part of the municipality's interdisciplinary effort 'Families on the Way', in the project 'Minding the Baby' and in the Cos-P project in Daycare
- We commit to professionalism – you will receive a thorough introduction and be assigned a fixed mentor during your introductory period
- We focus on development – both individual professional development and organizational development
- We offer good opportunities for further and continuing education
- In 2026/2027 we will participate in the project 'Evaluation of Implementation of ADBB in Health Visiting in Denmark', and in this process all health visitors will be certified in the ADBB method
- We work with the Marte Meo method, and in due course there will be an opportunity to undertake a Marte Meo training
- We have peer coaching and supervision
- We place great emphasis on our wellbeing in Health Visiting. We are and will be a good place to work…
- We choose good collaboration – both within the individual teams and across teams, with management and other collaboration relationships
- We are a mixed group of both new and experienced health visitors, which provides a good dynamic and some good and exciting dialogues
We expect that you
- Are a trained health visitor
- Are professionally engaged and can contribute to professional development with insight into the latest theories
- Are prepared to continuously work on your professional development, and have a positive attitude to changes in the municipal health system
- Are flexible and good at implementing new knowledge and new working methods
- Are able to create good collaboration relationships and place high importance on interprofessional collaboration
- Are positive and community-oriented.
