The Tangelopperne Kindergarten is seeking a Pedagogical Department Head

Do you want to lead a small and manageable kindergarten – while being close to the children and part of everyday life on the floor? Then we have the position for you.

Tangelopperne has capacity for 30 children and is situated in scenic surroundings with our own lunch hut, Skovloppen. We are part of Tange Christian Free School.

The position is permanent at 37 hours per week, of which about 24 hours are on the floor with the children and the remaining hours are leadership tasks. The school secretary handles the administrative tasks for the kindergarten.

We are looking for you who

• Is a trained pedagogist and eager for the combination of leadership and presence in everyday life among children and colleagues.
• Wants to be part of a kindergarten with active and engaged parents who contribute to the community.
• Wants to step into the leadership space across kindergarten, after-school program (SFO) and school in collaboration with the principal and the SFO leader/deputy head.
• Is willing to lead staff meetings, parent meetings, MUS interviews and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Will lead the staff's professional development through engagement, sparring and inspiration.
• Is a team player, approachable and positive, and communicates affirmatively both in writing and verbally.
• Will contribute to further developing our outdoor education pedagogy with “Skovloppen” as the base
• Can identify with the Christian values we build on, and contribute to a culture where these values are evident in everyday life.

Employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the applicable agreement between BUPL and the Free Schools. Start date: January 1, 2027
