Part-time teachers and student tutors with natural science competencies for the nursing education program

About the job

As a lecturer you will be part of a close collegial collaboration on planning, development, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning activities in the nursing education. You will help ensure high quality in teaching. You will teach both larger classes and groups of students as well as supervise students and conduct assessments on different semesters. Both teaching and development tasks are closely linked to professional practice.

About you

We are looking for lecturers who are currently pursuing or have completed a relevant higher education degree at master’s or candidate level, and who through their education have gained competences in several of the following areas: anatomy, physiology, pathology, nutrition, microbiology and pharmacology.

Your workplace

The nursing education is part of the Institute for Nursing and Nutrition Education, where we together employ 230 staff and 4,300 students. In the nursing education there are about 3,400 students enrolled, and there are about 150 lecturers and five educational leaders.

At the nursing education at KP we place, among other things, emphasis on

• Setting high professional requirements for students within the themes and subject areas taught
• Ongoing feedback on students’ tasks, activities and exams
• Simulation-based teaching and digitalisation are integrated elements of the teaching planning
• In the teacher group, we continuously collaborate to develop our teaching practice to ensure high quality.

Salary and terms of employment

If you are hired as student lecturer

You are hired as a student lecturer in education room 2 with start on December 1, 2026. This is a fixed-term position for up to 3 years, depending on how far you are in your studies. The hours are agreed periodically and depend on the timetable planning for the individual modules. You are hired on an individual contract. The hourly wage is DKK 180.69 per hour as of August 1, 2026.

Your employment is in accordance with Executive Order on the Job Structure for Teachers at Higher Education Institutions at Business Academies, University Colleges, etc., no. 414 of 27 April 2025 .

Employment as a student lecturer requires that you are enrolled as a student at a higher education institution, and that you have completed at least 1st semester of the education on which you will teach, or an equivalent level.

If you are hired as part-time lecturer

You are hired as a part-time lecturer in education room 2 with start on December 1, 2026. The hours are agreed periodically and depend on the timetable planning for the individual modules.

The employment is fixed-term for up to 3 years with the possibility of extension up to 500 hours per academic year including preparation. Employment takes place in accordance with Agreement for external lecturers and part-time lecturers at professional colleges, etc. entered into between the Ministry of Finance, LC/CO10 and Akademikerne.

The workplace is located at Tagensvej 86, 2200 Copenhagen N.
