Two introductory positions in Neurology, AUH

We are seeking two doctors for introductory positions in Neurology at Aarhus University Hospital to be filled by January 1, 2027 (I-nr.: 6620-15-20-i-03 + 6620-15-20-i-04) or by agreement.

Regardless of whether you can say yes to all three or just one - do not hesitate to apply. Whether you are into the acute or chronic course, there will be a place for you in neurology. In addition to focusing on clinical work with history, neurological examination and paraclinics, there is a rich research environment just waiting to invite a neurology in spe inside.

With us you will

• be experienced in treating and sorting out the most common acute neurological conditions, including seizures and stroke
• be part of an interdisciplinary team where everyone shows great commitment and professionalism
• systematically trained in neurological examination technique and lumbar puncture.

The department has a large flow of patients, both acute, elective and outpatient. We cover subspecialties within neurovascular diseases, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, dementia, pain conditions, headaches and sleep.

As an intern you will handle on-call duties (2-shift on-call), ward rounds and outpatient work. Ward rounds and outpatient work are supervised by a specialist. You will start night shifts after one month.

• have completed the KBU program before employment
• are good at collaborating across professional groups and contribute to a good working environment
• are motivated to learn.

Salaries and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Employment is conditional on a satisfactory police clearance certificate and a satisfactory authorization.

The position is aimed at doctors who have not previously completed an introductory training in the specialty.

The position is, as a rule, a full-time position.
