We are looking for two warm-hearted and present educators for our kindergarten. Perhaps you have just finished your education, perhaps you’re nearing the finish line – and perhaps you have already talked about how wonderful it could be to start your pedagogical careers together.

With us you do not need to know everything from day one. We want to give you a good start, with room to ask questions, be curious, try things out and develop yourselves both professionally and personally.

We would actually feel very lucky if two newly graduated pedagogues choose to apply for the positions together!

A house with room for both children and adults

Det Røde Hjørne is an integrated institution with five infant groups and three kindergarten groups. We are located at the start of Amager, close to Amager Fælled, the beach and plenty of green areas, playgrounds, football fields, city gardens and animals. We have several electric cargo bikes (elladcykler) which we use diligently for trips and experiences in the local area.

We have a large and bright three-story building with good common rooms, a large craft room full of materials and direct access from all floors to our own playgrounds. We love being outdoors, exploring and using the opportunities just outside the door. When the weather calls for indoor activities, we have plenty of space in our large common room to split into smaller groups.

We are looking for two educators who want to create a safe and content-rich everyday life for our kindergarten children. The most important thing for us is that you meet the children with presence, care and recognition, and that you are eager to build close relationships with them.

We believe that good pedagogical work starts in the relationship. There should be room for laughter, hugs, play and immersion – even on busy days.

We work with structure and predictability, and all rooms prepare weekly plans for the educational activities. We base our work on the Strengthened Pedagogical Curriculum and work with different themes throughout the year.

In everyday life we divide the children into smaller groups, so there is opportunities for presence and immersion. It can be activities with body and movement, creative projects, trips in the local area or something else that arouses the children’s curiosity.

You do not need to be the same or know the same things. We see different competencies, interests and personalities as a strength, and we would like to give you the opportunity to bring your own professional skills and ideas into play.
