Carpenter for floors and renovations in Kalundborg

Are you a carpenter and do you want floor work, new builds and renovations?

We need a carpenter in Kalundborg for finish and detail tasks.

You will join a small crafts business where floors are the common thread in daily life. The work is around Kalundborg, and the tasks range from new builds to renovations. Work with floor solutions such as epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic and self-leveling compound, so you have a daily where substrate, finish and delivery matter. It is close to the craft, and there is a short path from decision to action.

The role suits you if you can get going without everything needing to be explained three times. You must be able to work properly with details and speak up if something doesn’t fit on site. A driving licence is required because tasks are located at customer sites and on sites.

What you get Salary: 220-240 DKK per hour

Work area: Kalundborg and surroundings

Collective agreement: Employed under the current collective agreement

Employment: Full-time – we are looking for people we can work with for many years. No short courses.

Everyday: Floors, new builds and renovations

Your everyday

When a task is in progress, the day is about getting the sequence to hang together. In renovations you fit your work into the existing building, and in new builds you follow the site plan. It requires you to think ahead and include the details before the next trade can come in.

You will among other things work with

• Working on new builds where finish and sequence must align
• Assisting on renovations where the existing building sets the frame
• Carpentry tasks around floors, substrates and finishes
• Working with floor solutions such as epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic and self-leveling
• Ensuring details are captured before the task is delivered

Here thoroughness becomes quickly visible. If a edge, transition or finish doesn’t fit, it’s better to say it right away than let the next person discover it.

We’re looking for you who can check off most

We don’t expect you to have done everything before. But you must be able to look at a task and get started.

We imagine that you

• Have a driving license
• Have a couple of years’ experience as a carpenter
• Can work precisely with details and finishes
• Are stable and show up as agreed
• Say if something doesn’t add up

It’s an advantage if you’ve tried your hand at floors, new builds or renovations. But the most important is that you can deliver a proper piece of work.
