Transaction Services - Director with Partner Potential

At BDO we are seeking a Director with ambitions and partner potential who will be at the forefront of building and leading a Transaction Services team in one of Denmark's best Deal Advisory environments.

As a Director in Transaction Services you will play a central role in developing the business within financial due diligence and advisory.

Your tasks will include

• To build, drive and develop a highly specialized Transaction Services team. We will help you get off to a good start, after which you set the direction for the team's further development.
• To drive and carry out financial due diligence on both buy- and sell-side – from the first meeting with the client to the final report for both Danish and international clients.
• To negotiate contracts and issue bids as well as negotiate key terms in transaction agreements, including warranties schedules.
• To identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities that could affect the transactions.
• To attract and develop new business opportunities through both your own network and BDO’s existing client relationships.

We envision that you already have solid experience with Transaction Services advisory at a senior level, preferably from the audit or consulting industry, and that you have worked with both Danish and international clients.

From day one you will be responsible for both your own projects and for building your own Transaction Services team. You therefore thrive in taking responsibility, driving complex processes and having your finances under control, so you can navigate confidently through negotiations, analyses and reporting.

At the same time you have both the courage and the desire to create new business opportunities and develop strong client relationships – both through BDO’s existing network and through what you build yourself.

BDO Deal Advisory currently comprises about 20 specialists in M&A, Valuation and Transaction Services, of which the current Transaction Services & Valuation team counts 10 dedicated employees.

Your immediate supervisor will be the partner and head of Transaction Services & Valuation, Per Bech.

In 2024, BDO was involved in 1,750 completed transactions worldwide, of which 42% involved Private Equity, and 23% were cross-border.
