We are seeking a trained educator for 37 hours to one of our three nursery groups. We are looking for you who is curious about children, focused on relationships and who wants to be part of a house in development.

Children first

At Troldebo we believe that children develop best when they are met by present adults who are curious about their thoughts, ideas and initiatives. We are focused on seeing beyond the behavior, understanding the child’s perspective and creating participation opportunities for all children.

Play is the central point of our pedagogical work. It is here that the children explore the world, make friends, practice, fail, succeed, laugh and learn. Therefore we work purposefully to create inspiring play and learning environments where children can thrive, develop and feel themselves as meaningful members of the community.

A house with strong communities

We are a good mix of new and experienced Troldebo residents. Some have been here for many years, others have joined recently. The most important is not how long you have been here – but that you want to be part of the community.

We help each other, share our knowledge and lift tasks together. We believe that strong relationships between the adults create the best conditions for the children.

Professionalism with structure

We work systematically and consciously with our pedagogical practice. The weekly plans are an important part of how we organize our work, because they create structure, clarity and coherence in everyday life. At the same time, they give us a common starting point for reflection and development of our pedagogical work.

We also use the Language Staircase to follow each child’s well-being, development and learning, so we can support the children as best as possible.

• 45 minutes of weekly pedagogical time for preparation, documentation and professional reflection.

You may have experience from the early childhood sector, but you are also very welcome to apply if you are newly trained. Whether you come with many years of experience or are new to the profession, you will become part of an engaged work community where we prioritise sparring, professional development and help each other succeed.
