Truck mechanic – Padborg

Skifter Lastbil A/S is seeking a skilled truck mechanic with hands-on skills for a permanent position at our workshop in Padborg. If you are a trained truck mechanic, auto mechanic or agricultural machinery mechanic or similar, we offer an exciting and versatile daily routine with high professionalism and good colleagues.

A day in the life as a truck mechanic with us

Your primary tasks will be troubleshooting, repairs and service inspections on trucks.

With us you will meet dedicated employees, an informal tone and quick decisions. You will become part of an engaged team of 28 employees, where we always help each other and where the customer is at the center.

You will work with a wide range of tasks mainly on Volvo- and Renault-trucks

• Troubleshooting with original test equipment and repair of electrical, lighting and air systems
• Routine service, mechanical maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Preparation for inspection and readiness

Your qualifications

• Knowledge of the industry – and training as a truck mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic or similar.
• You are versatile, as the tasks span several areas.
• It is advantageous - but not a requirement - that you have good experience with welding, electricity, hydraulics or pneumatics.
• You are prepared for a varied and busy everyday life and can juggle multiple tasks at once.
• You are ready for further education and wish ongoing development within the industry.

Your working hours

We have varying working hours, including evening and Saturday shifts, which you will become part of after a fixed rotation plan.
