About the position

As a tunnel engineer you will be an important professional collaborator in the design of tunnel and infrastructure constructions – including stormwater and drainage solutions, where underground structures are a central part of the overall robustness. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own deliverables and actively contribute to finding robust, well‑developed solutions together with colleagues and clients. Your primary tasks will be:

• Design and design development of tunnel and infrastructure constructions, including no-dig/microtunnels
• Contribute to stormwater projects, including design of stormwater tunnels and related infrastructure
• Preparation of static calculations and documentation as well as verification using FEM programs
• Client advisory in relevant phases of the projects
• Collaboration with clients and colleagues to solve complex infrastructure tasks in cross-disciplinary teams
• Contribute to professional sparring, knowledge sharing and your own and the team’s professional development

About you

You have strong communication and collaboration skills and thrive in an environment with pace and varying tasks, where we also look after each other and a good work-life balance. We imagine that you:

• Have a relevant engineering degree
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a designer (preferably from the consultancy industry or similar role)
• Have experience with design/detail design of infrastructure constructions in concrete and/or steel
• Have experience with no-dig/microtunneling and/or tunnel design
• Have experience with verification and use of FEM programs
• Thrive in dialog with clients, partners and colleagues and can contribute constructively in a cross-disciplinary setup
