About the job

Would you like to help build an exciting position, and can you see yourself being the coordinating link across two residential facilities?

Are you a nurse, used to being close to the citizens, and can you translate health-related knowledge into concrete tools and focus areas while also being an open person who is good at communicating?

Your working hours will primarily be during the day on weekdays, and if tasks require it, evening work may occur. You should expect weekend work approximately every 4-6 weeks, where you will be included in the normal staffing in the on-call schedule. We believe that being close to the core task creates even more quality and understanding of the residents' needs.

About the two offerings

  • Robertshøj is a modern residential and day services facility in Ørestad for 30 adults with developmental disabilities, autism and mobility impairment.

  • At Jacobshøj, adults with developmental disabilities live, often with reduced mobility. Some also have psychiatric diagnoses or other complex challenges. Several have composite or multiple functional impairments.

Your overall responsibility

You will have a coordinating role at two residential facilities located in the same building. You are a central health care professional sparring partner for coordinators and other staff in both ordinary and complex health-related issues.

Your tasks

  • Support and develop staff health care competencies through teaching, onboarding, guidance and practical, hands-on learning.
  • Translate health-related knowledge into concrete and usable tools, observations and focus areas, so staff with different professional backgrounds know what to pay attention to, and when to react.
  • Work systematically with quality assurance and quality development of the health-related initiatives, including monitoring, follow-up and supporting that residents receive the necessary care, treatment and health follow-up.
  • Support the quality of health documentation through professional sparring, follow-up and development of documentation practices.
  • Contribute with nursing assessments and support in complex resident pathways where there is a need for extra sparring or a more targeted effort.
  • Support and qualify the health care collaboration with, among others, the general practitioner, hospital and other relevant partners.
  • Contribute with concrete nursing assessments and tasks as needed.

Who are you

  • A trained nurse, and if you have experience from the target group or the specialty area it is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • It comes natural to you to work with other professional groups such as e.g. educators, care assistants or aides.
  • You are good at structuring and creating overview and following up on implemented action plans, audits m.m.
  • You are personable and enjoy collaboration.
  • You have experience with, or you can see yourself teaching a group or training colleagues.

We would also like you to possibly have some of the following competencies

  • Familiar with working in a social field and with LA2
  • Knowledge of oligophrenia, perhaps you have a psychiatric background
  • Knowledge about epilepsy

Networking and sparring

You will daily spar with the two health care coordinators, who are trained care assistants, our general practitioner and health care consultants in the Center for Long-Term Housing, which we are part of. There will be opportunities for upskilling in neuropedagogy.

Employment terms

The position is full-time with start on December 1 or as soon as possible thereafter. You will be employed under the applicable collective agreement. We will obtain a criminal record check and references in connection with a potential hire.
