About the job
Ådalskolen seeks two community-oriented, engaged and academically strong special school teachers who will help show that potential exists in all children?
One position is in our 1st grade, where the teacher who has carried the task since the summer break will take on other duties at the school from 1/12-26. The other position will cover the teacher in our 4th grade, as the teacher goes on maternity leave from 1/1-27.
We are a special school for students with extensive physical and mental disabilities, including communication difficulties, autism, developmental disorders, developmental delay as well as diagnoses and syndromes to varying degrees. With us you become part of an interdisciplinary environment where we prioritise well-being, high professional standards and the individual child\'s unique potential.
You will become part of a quite special community. A community you can feel when you step through the doors at our school. We might as well say it like it is: we are a special provision with an important agenda. We know that development requires trust, and we strive to deserve it. Students and parents should be able to count on us, so we say what we mean – and do what we say.
Ådalskolen and STU Ringsted are a dynamic and flexible workplace with about 92 children at the school and 15 young people in our STU. We are about 94 engaged and good colleagues, all focusing on a good working environment. We work in self-organising teams, where across management and teams we collaborate and support each other in everyday life. In addition we offer a school with a unique location in nicely furnished premises with fantastic outdoor areas and good transport possibilities.
