Procurement Specialist or Procurement Lawyer for Midttrafik – help shape the future of public transport

Would you like to work with procurement, contracts and law that directly affect public transport in the Central Denmark Region?

We are seeking a procurement specialist or procurement lawyer who will help plan and conduct tenders and follow the contracts all the way from tender strategy to operation. You will become part of a professionally strong team and will have a wide contact surface to colleagues, municipalities, suppliers and other transport companies.

Your tasks

You will have a varied daily life with responsibility for your own tasks and the opportunity to shape both procurement and contract management. Your tasks will include among others to

• plan and carry out tenders within public transport – from strategy and tender material to evaluation and contract formation
• run and spar with colleagues and external partners on procurement and contract-law questions
• work with contract management and supplier follow-up, including contract changes, addenda, extensions and transfers
• handling concrete issues in existing contracts in close dialogue with both professional areas and suppliers
• process case notes and other legal issues related to the area
• prepare notes and decision drafts for management and the political staff
• bid to develop our tender strategies, contracts, templates and workflows.

Your everyday life with us

You will become part of Contracts, where we work with tenders, contract follow-up, legal sparring and political backing. We have different professional backgrounds and great experience in the area, and we place emphasis on sharing knowledge and helping each other. The job gives you a broad contact surface. Internally you will collaborate with management, managers and employees across Midttrafik. Externally you will, among other things, gain contact with municipalities, suppliers, advisers and colleagues in other transport companies.

Who are you?

Your path into the position may vary. You probably have a relevant higher education, e.g., in law, business law, commerce or another area that gives you a good starting point to work with procurement and contracts. You preferably have a couple of years of relevant professional experience, but the right professional profile, motivation and ability to learn the area are more important than a specific number of years on the CV.

• have experience with or interest in public procurement, contracts and/or project work
• can drive your own tasks in a structured way and follow them all the way to the end
• can translate complex issues into clear and easy-to-understand messages – both in writing and orally
• are good at collaborating and can be clear in dialogue with suppliers and other partners
• can navigate a politically governed organization and have an eye for both law, operations and the practical consequences of a solution
• are curious, take responsibility and contribute to a good working environment.

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement with KL.
