A valuable learning journey focused on your development

As an intern at Ulveman & Børsting, you will from day one be part of several client teams, where you will have both responsibility and close sparring from your new colleagues. Here you will translate your political knowledge and your communicative and analytical skills into concrete solutions for our clients – and you will learn from some of the most experienced advisers in Denmark in the fields of communication, media and politics.

We offer an intensive learning program that develops your abilities and challenges your professionalism. You will build a valuable toolbox and, after the program, will be ready to take a step closer to the role of trusted adviser. We give you a thorough introduction to our work with public affairs, strategic communications and crisis management.

You will also be assigned a fixed mentor at your own level, who will accompany you throughout the internship, as well as a partner who serves as your professional supervisor.

Your tasks will span broadly and be tailored to your profile and competencies. Typical duties include research, background analyses, media monitoring and participation in client meetings, as well as contributions to the development of communications strategies, public affairs strategies and press handling. You will work closely with our experienced consultants and have the opportunity to develop yourself within advisory work and strategic communications. We closely monitor your development through ongoing 1:1 meetings between you and your supervisor.

We are looking for students who are eager to develop themselves and who are

• Currently pursuing a higher education degree, e.g., political science, IBP, communications or journalism
• Strong analysts with good communication skills in Danish and English
• Independent and eager to take responsibility and deliver at a high level
• Structured and detail-oriented – even when deadlines are tight

Conditions and career opportunities

As an intern you will be employed under a full-time contract and thus have a unique opportunity to test your abilities against the firm's various deliverables on a daily basis. Additionally, there is the possibility of being employed as a junior consultant after completing the internship. As an intern you will receive a financial allowance or salary depending on your SU status. The internship must be transferable as credits to a relevant higher education program. Start and end dates can be adjusted as needed.
