Your academic focus

We are looking for a candidate with a strong profile and broad knowledge in logistics, purchasing, trade and economics – preferably with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Logistics and Purchasing
  • Supply chain management
  • Production
  • Sales and trade
  • Economics

You do not need to have teaching experience; the most important is your industry experience in combination with a desire to become a skilled teacher. We will help you develop your teaching competencies.

If you have experience with online teaching and development of digital learning formats, that is a clear advantage.

Your tasks

  • Teaching at the Logistics Economist and Administration Economist – and possibly at related mercantile programs.
  • Participation in the development of subjects and teaching programs in close collaboration with colleagues. This includes both digital and physical courses.
  • Sparring with industry through case work, projects and internship programs.
  • In time, contributing to research and development projects.

You will be part of an engaged team that prioritizes collaboration, humor and high professional standards.

Your background

  • You have a relevant master's degree.
  • You have practical experience from the business world – preferably within logistics, purchasing, production and/or economics and possibly other related areas.
  • You can translate theory into practice and motivate both young people and adults
  • You have good collaboration skills and thrive in a dynamic everyday life.
  • Teaching experience is an advantage, but not a requirement – we will prepare you for the role.

We offer

  • An exciting position where you can influence the development of the education.
  • A strong academic and collegial environment – with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to create a good balance between work and private life.
  • Opportunity to work with online teaching and digital learning formats.
  • An attractive pension scheme.

Practical information

We hire you as an adjunct on a full-time basis with a plan for lecturer qualification towards lecturer assessment within 4 years. This means, among other things, that you will upskill within the pedagogical and didactic area. If you already have a positive lecturer assessment within the area, you will be employed as a lecturer.

You will, depending on seniority and background, be employed as an adjunct/lecturer in accordance with the applicable agreement with the Ministry of Finance as well as the job structure for teachers at Danish business academies, professional bachelor’s schools and Denmark’s Media and Journalism College.

If you are lecturer-qualified or have merited after 2003 – the job structure, it is possible to attach a request for lecturer assessment in accordance with the Regulation no. 673 of May 13, 2020 on lecturer qualification.
