Hospitality with sales talent – become a Summerbirds ambassador in CPH

Can you make people feel welcome – even when they only have a few minutes before the plane leaves? Do you thrive in an international environment where the pace is high, and every guest contact counts? Then you might be our new host and sales ambassador at Summerbird in Copenhagen Airport.

We are looking for someone who combines strong hospitality with a natural sales instinct. You meet guests with presence, find out what they’re looking for, and guide them to the chocolate experience they remember – and perhaps take with them out into the world.

You create the experience

In the store you are Summerbird's face to the outside world. You greet, share your enthusiasm for our organic chocolate, and help both local customers and travellers from around the world. At the same time you take co-responsibility for the store's sales, presentation and daily operations.

We imagine that you

• Have several years of experience from hospitality, hosting and/or service and thrive on creating personal guest experiences
• Are outgoing and confident in meeting people from different countries and cultures
• Keep a cool head and high spirits when the pace intensifies
• Are motivated by sales and results and can translate good advice into good purchases
• Have an interest in chocolate, food or gastronomy
• Communicate well in Danish and English; several languages are a plus
• Have experience from travel retail – an advantage, but not a requirement

The airport is open from early morning to late evening, year-round. Therefore you must be prepared for changing working hours, including morning, evening and weekend work. The position is a full-time position at 37 hours per week.

You create the experience

As a key ambassador for Summerbird, you’ll welcome guests, share your enthusiasm for our organic chocolate and help travellers find the perfect gift or treat. You’ll also contribute to the store’s sales, presentation and day-to-day operations.

We’re looking for someone who

• Has an outgoing, engaging personality and enjoys approaching and connecting with guests
• Is commercially minded and energized by sales, targets and results
• Has experience in hospitality, guest service, or a customer-facing role
• Thrives in a fast-paced, international environment
• Enjoys meeting people from different countries and cultures
• Has an interest in chocolate, food, or gastronomy
• Speaks Danish and English; additional languages are a real strength
• Has experience in travel retail, which is an advantage

Copenhagen Airport is open from early morning until late evening, all year round. You should therefore be comfortable with a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings and weekends. The position is a fulltime position.
