Vanddråben seeks an educator for the kindergarten

We are looking for a pedagogue for our kindergarten from December 1 for a position of 30 hours per week - but the number of hours can be negotiated.

Børnehuset Vanddråben is a medium-large integrated institution, and we are normed to 26 infants and 52 kindergarten children.

We are located in the scenic Trekroner, where we have many opportunities locally to go exploring in nature with the children. We work with age-separated child groups in the kindergarten, so we have two rooms with the 3-4 year olds and one room with the oldest kindergarten children. The position is in a room with the 3-4 year olds.

In Vanddråben we work with the starting point in the relationship to the children and the parents. We see the relationship to the child as the starting point for all our pedagogical work. Our pedagogical approach is inspired by Nest pedagogy, and it takes its starting point from where the children are emotionally, socially, cognitively and motorically. We believe that children do well if they can, which forms the starting point for all our interactions with the children.

In Roskilde Municipality we work with preparation time, so you will get preparation time for your work as a pedagogue.

Salary and employment are of course in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Before employment, a child and criminal background check as well as references are obtained.

Application deadline 9 November.

If you have questions you are welcome to contact Susan Stær Sehested at 24750865.

We hold ongoing interviews.
