Veterinarians wanted for a privately owned clinic in Silkeborg

We are undergoing a generational transition and are looking for you who want to join a team with a focus on professionalism and well-being.

Dyreklinikken Vestergade is the oldest clinic in Silkeborg, and since age in itself is not a quality, this testifies that over time we have been able to keep up with developments. We offer a good working environment where we support each other and continually strive to develop both personal and professional competencies.

About the position

You will work exclusively with small animals, and there is broad opportunity to pursue your interests whether they lie within the medical area, dental work, you feel most comfortable with a scalpel in hand, or you would like to try a bit of everything. We perform the most common medical and surgical procedures at the clinic, including cruciate ligament operations and BOAS correction, and we have a high flow of dental patients. We are also the supervising veterinarian for AQUA in Silkeborg.

The position can be full-time or part-time. There is a 15-shift on-call rota that ends at 23:00, where we have a good collaboration with two other clinics in the local area.

Contact

If you would like to submit an application, or have detailed questions about the position, you can contact us at the clinic's email: [email protected] or call the clinic's main number: 86829282.

If you have questions about what it is like to be employed here at the clinic, you can ask for our sweet and skilled veterinarian, Helena, who has been employed since October 2025.

The position is intended to be filled by 1 December 2026, but we are happy to wait for the right candidate. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis.
