At Ringsted Svømmeland we work every day to create good experiences for the many people who use our facilities. Here, children, families, associations, fitness enthusiasts, beginners, schools and companies come together in an active community where exercise, health and socializing are the focus.

We are looking for two lifeguards/instructors (technical service staff) for permanent positions of 37 hours per week.

As a lifeguard, a large part of your working day will take place at the poolside, where you are visible, present and help to create a sense of security for our guests. Your most important task is to ensure a safe, clean and secure environment in Svømmelandet, but the job includes much more than that.

Your duties will include lifeguard service and supervision, service and guidance of guests, cleaning and ensuring neat and inviting facilities, practical operations and maintenance tasks, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of new activities and offerings.

We would like you to have experience with, or an interest in, teaching and activities in the water. Perhaps you already teach baby swimming, aquafitness, water gymnastics or saunagus. If you don’t have the experience yet, but the motivation is there, we offer relevant courses and competency development.

You can work independently, but also thrive as part of a strong team where people help each other. At the same time you are attentive to your surroundings, take responsibility and act when the situation requires it.

We expect that you have a valid pool lifeguard certificate at the time of hire or are prepared to obtain it before starting. In addition, you must be willing to ongoing training and to join a duty roster with day, evening and weekend shifts. The specific shift schedule structure can be sent by email upon request to the Team Leader.

Background checks, including child and/or criminal records, will be obtained in connection with the employment.
