Do you want to build precision mechanical and high-tech machines from the ground up at LEGO?

Step into R&D Processing at LEGO, where you will be responsible for inventing and developing unique machines for the packaging area. Here you get the freedom to build solutions from scratch in a 3-month temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment, where a flexible 4-day work week on day shift is a possibility.

Your tasks

In the R&D Processing department you will be met with a workday where tasks rarely have a predefined correct answer. Here you are allowed to use both your mechanical skills in a large project, where you must think creatively and develop solutions from the ground up.

• You conceive and build specialized machines that optimize daily operations in LEGO's packaging areas.
• You assemble and test precision mechanics with your own hands, so you physically feel and understand the equipment you create.
• You adjust components and low voltage to precisely map cause and effect in the new systems.
• You contribute with practical mechanical expertise
• You drive your own development tasks forward from the first good idea to the finished, running solution.

Your profile

You have a strong technical curiosity and a deep understanding of how mechanics and electronics connect. You love to use your hands and have a practical approach to problem solving that allows you to understand complex contexts even when you don’t have a recipe to follow.

• You have a solid mechanical background, for example as a fine mechanic, automation mechanic, machine operator, automation technician, toolmaker or similar.
• You have solid experience with mechanical assembly.
• You have strong practical experience with using your hands to build and assemble technical equipment.
• You have a good basic understanding of fine mechanics and low voltage.
• You are able to test functions in practice and can see how small adjustments affect the whole.

As a person you thrive with a high degree of freedom and you do not get discouraged when the path to the goal is not pre-marked. You work focused and persistent with your tasks, and you are motivated by the professional pride of seeing your equipment operate perfectly in production.
