Spindegården in Valby is seeking a dedicated and caring toddler nursery teacher for 35-37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027.

Who are we?

Spindegården is a self-governing, integrated day care institution in Valby with 36 nursery children and 66 kindergarten children. We employ around 25 educational staff, and we have a high proportion of trained pedagogues.

The nursery consists of three groups, where we work both on our own room and across teams. We know each other’s children and help one another in everyday life, because we believe that a strong collegial community creates good conditions for the children.

Our pedagogical focus

We work with presence, care and secure relationships. We believe that good pedagogy is found in the small everyday moments – in play, meals, the cloakroom and the many daily transitions.

We focus on small and large communities and work with a clear structure that creates recognizability and security for the children.

One of our current focus areas is the transition from nursery to kindergarten, where we work to strengthen the children’s sense of coherence and psychological safety.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a trained educator who

• Has an eye for each child’s needs and development opportunities.
• Can translate pedagogical knowledge into practice.
• Contributes positively to team collaboration and collegial sparring.
• Wants to develop the pedagogical practice together with us.
