The nursery at Fuglbjerggård is looking for a pedagogical assistant who thrives on play and caring for the youngest children

The nursery department in the integrated institution, Fuglbjerggård in Solbjerg, is looking for you who can put your pedagogical and human abilities to use for the benefit of our nursery children. We offer you equally warm and competent colleagues with whom you can solve the core task — also in wonderful physical surroundings. This is a fixed-term position from 01.12-26 to 31.05 2027.

At Fuglbjerggård we love outdoor life, singing, play and creative activities. We spend a lot of time on the playground and/or in the local area. Therefore it is important that you enjoy being outside whether the sun is shining, the wind is howling and the rain is pouring down.

You will become part of the nursery department, which consists of two groups with a total of 24 children. You, together with the pedagogues, share responsibility for a group of 12 children. We work closely with the other group, so you will get to know all the children. In addition, we also collaborate with the kindergarten on the other side of the wall — here there are about 42 children.

Your main tasks are to

• create well-being, learning, development and formation for the children – including plenty of security and care : In collaboration with your colleagues you are aware of and act according to what moves in the child group and the framework around them. Among other things there is plenty of opportunity for your personality and your specialist knowledge to be used to benefit the children. We love quirky ideas that the children will find fun
• be a cooperative and sparring partner for your colleagues : You willingly contribute with knowledge, argumentation and sparring in the work community with your colleagues. We would like to hear your opinion and thoughts!
• communicate verbally and in writing through IT platforms : Communication of your and your colleagues' work with and about the children takes place mainly via Word and Aula – therefore it is a great advantage that you are used to or positively inclined towards IT. We will train you as needed.

• Are cheerful, smiling and welcoming
• Are present, acknowledging and caring in relation to the individual children
• Are curious about the pedagogical work and eager to learn new things
• Can work independently and think for yourself
• Able to be adaptable
• Maybe you play music that you can use with the children

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination will take place after negotiation with the bargaining-authorised trade union based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting

Weekly working hours: 30-32 hours
