We are looking for 2 educators for a 37-hour position at the Træet special kindergarten.

Specialbørnehaven Træet seeks 2 warm-hearted, curious and reflective pedagogues for a strong work community , where we always strive to make each other look good, take responsibility for both the practical, social, physical and psychological aspects - with a focus on the core task and where we always create room for laughter .

The position is available from January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are a relatively new kindergarten with plenty of opportunities, development and room for pedagogical initiatives.

We are passionate about working with children within the social and special pedagogical field, and we take the lead and guide our groups of children, while keeping an eye on the individual child. Relationship work is our primary task, and we take into account the differently wired brain of children with autism.

We are therefore as ahead as possible regarding reaction patterns and behavior.

We support everything we do visually, which is one of our important pedagogical tools to support verbal interaction as well as the pedagogical purpose.

About you

• You are trained as a pedagogue – preferably with experience within the autism spectrum, and with knowledge of special pedagogical methods e.g. TEACCH, PECS, social stories, Low Arousal, Boardmaker etc. or some of these methods.
• You have insight into the challenges our children face. You are able to use and promote their resources so they can reach their goals.
• You are flexible and willing to make a special effort when required.
• You thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration on joint efforts.
• You are process-oriented and can plan a structured daily routine for our children that creates predictability and recognizability with visual support.
• You focus on the core task and can maintain an overview in a busy daily life.
• You are a curious and open person with good communication skills, both written and spoken.

Salary placement is negotiated between the municipality and the bargaining representative organization.
