About the job

Would you like to contribute to quality of life, safety and meaningful everyday life?

We are looking for an engaged pedagogical or health-professional colleague for a permanent position of 37 hours per week in Hus 10 at Ane Staunings Vej.

In Hus 10 you will be part of a workplace where professionalism, presence and respect for the individual are in focus. Here 16 residents aged 20-86 live, all with significant and lasting functional impairments and needs for individual support, care and help around the clock. The resident group is diverse and includes, among others, people with autism, Down syndrome and multi-handicap.

We place great emphasis on meeting each resident based on their resources, wishes and needs. Our most important task is to create the framework for a safe, meaningful and dignified everyday life, where the residents experience the greatest possible self-determination, influence and quality of life.

In our pedagogical work we, among other things, take our starting point in LA2 (Low Arousal 2) , where we work systematically with residents' well-being, perspectives and coping strategies. We focus on understanding each resident's behavior and needs as well as on how we as staff can adapt our approach and create the best conditions for well-being and development.

Who are we?

We are a multidisciplinary staff group with different educational backgrounds and competencies, who together work to create the best possible conditions for residents' everyday life.

We believe that high professionalism is created in collaboration. Therefore we prioritise professional reflection, sparring and knowledge sharing, where we are curious about both our own and each other’s practice. We see our different professional perspectives as a strength that contributes to a holistic approach around the individual resident.

Our everyday life is characterized by both pedagogical and health-professional tasks, and we work from an understanding that care, relationships, self-determination and professional quality go hand in hand.

We want a workplace culture where there is room for diversity, professional discussions and development. Where we dare to ask questions, be investigative and together find new ways when something is difficult. We place emphasis on a collegial community characterized by trust, respect, responsibility and a good dose of humor.

With us you are not alone in the task. We help each other, share our knowledge and take joint responsibility for both residents' well-being and a good working environment.

We are looking for you who

  • Are educated as a pedagogist, social- and health care assistant, occupational therapist or have another relevant professional background.
  • Are passionate about relational work and have the residents' wishes, dreams and quality of life as the driving force.
  • Can bring your own professionalism into play and at the same time be open to both pedagogical and health-professional perspectives.
  • See documentation as an important tool to ensure quality, continuity and development in the effort.
  • Are professionally curious, reflective and have the courage to investigate both your own and others' practice.
  • Want to contribute to a culture where professionalism is shared, developed and translated into action.
  • Work responsibly, in a structured and independent manner, but at the same time value close collegial collaboration.
  • Can remain calm and keep an overview in challenging situations and meet the residents with respect and understanding.
  • Contribute positively and constructively to collaboration with colleagues, relatives and external partners.

Your tasks will include

  • To support residents' well-being, development, self-determination and quality of life based on their individual resources and needs.
  • To provide pedagogical support, personal care and practical help in daily life.
  • To perform or support health-professional tasks within your area of competence.
  • To work with LA2 as part of the shared professional approach.
  • To document, evaluate and follow up on interventions in Nexus.
  • To actively contribute to professional reflections, sparring and development processes.
  • To collaborate closely with colleagues on common professional goals and a coherent approach.
  • To create structure, predictability and meaningful activities based on the individual resident's wishes and needs.

We offer

  • A meaningful and diverse daily life where you have the opportunity to make a real difference for people with substantial support needs.
  • Dedicated colleagues with different professional competencies and extensive knowledge of the target group.
  • A workplace focused on learning, professional reflection and ongoing development of our practice.
  • Approachable leadership focused on dialogue, collaboration and employees' well-being.
  • Supervision, professional sparring and opportunities for competence development.
  • An working environment where we actively work with collaboration, respect and psychological safety.
  • Introductory LA2 course within the first year of employment, so you get a solid foundation for our shared professional approach.

The position is 37 hours per week with rotating day and evening shifts and work every other weekend.
