DSI Kammergave has existed since 1981 and is today an environmental therapeutic residential facility with 25 staff. Here adults with psychiatric diagnoses and psychosocial difficulties live in scenic surroundings by Dianalund.

You become part of a multidisciplinary community that works psychodynamically and based on mentalization. Together we explore what lies behind residents' behaviour. There is room for questions, doubt and different professional perspectives.

Support residents' development through daily life

As an environmental therapist you use everyday situations and stable, trusting relationships to support residents' well-being and development. You create structure, predictability and clear boundaries with attention to the individual.

The position is a permanent 37-hour-per-week role with day, evening and night shifts. Night shifts allow longer, coherent time off.

Your tasks include, among other things

· perform environmental-therapeutic and pedagogical work with residents

· use meals, activities, appointments and communities as part of the environmental therapeutic work

· support residents in conflicts and other challenging everyday situations

· handle contact-person duties and follow up on residents' development.

Bring your professionalism and curiosity into play

You are curious about both your own and others' perspectives and dare to bring doubt, mistakes and difficult situations into supervision and professional reflection. At the same time you work independently and contribute to a respectful collaboration where there is room to ask for help.

We emphasize that you

· are educated as a pedagogue, social worker or psychiatric nurse – or have another relevant intermediate higher education

· are interested in psychiatry and environmental therapy – experience from psychiatry is an advantage but not a requirement

· can create structure, stability and predictability around residents

· can build trusting relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries
