We are looking for new colleagues for the Bofællesskabet Krabben

Are you a trained pedagogue, SSA, occupational therapist or have other relevant experience – Do you want to make a difference for citizens with developmental disabilities?

Then it may be you we are looking for, as we are seeking two new colleagues.

The Krabben Shared Housing is a home for 22 wonderful residents. It is located in a scenic area, which we are good at utilizing in the daily activities with the citizens. We have among other things established a sensory path and a campfire hut that supports meaningful activities with the residents.

The residents' fundamental issue is developmental disability, combined with

• Communication difficulties
• Physical functional impairments
• Autism spectrum disorders

We work with structure, predictability and recognizability.

In our communication with the citizens we use among other things

• Communications passes
• Sign-to-speech (TTT)
• Pictograms and other alternative/augmentative communication (AAC)

Your tasks

• Pedagogical and health-professional tasks
• Development or maintenance of the residents' competencies with focus on well-being.
• Personal care and support for daily tasks
• Practical tasks in common areas and residents' apartments
• Participation in activities such as:
• Swimming
• Cycling trips
• Chair gymnastics etc.

Salary and employment

• Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement
• A criminal record check is obtained before employment
• The positions are 37 hours/week
• Working hours vary, with shifts every other weekend.
• There is an opportunity for an arrangement of long shifts, which may be offered twice a week up to 16 hours at a time.
