We are looking for sharp Java software developers for Nine…

As a software developer at Nine you will work on mission-critical projects as an executing consultant for their clients. You join cross-functional teams, and you thrive with roles that sometimes overlap. You will develop professionally through the tasks and through internal professional events and conferences at home and abroad.

You will play a central role in their IT project delivery. You love to have your hands on the keyboard and you implement elegant solutions to complex problems. You keep the focus on the customer's needs and you are therefore in contact with the customer several times during the day – they are often sitting right next to you. But it’s not only about what needs to be done, but also how it should be done.

Responsibilities

Your responsibility in the role as a software developer primarily covers the concrete technical solution proposals, implementation in the code base and quality assurance of the source code. You have a crucial role in ensuring that they deliver high-quality solutions that perform and handle all situations.

• Develop solutions and test the specified solution elements
• Clarify high-level features and requirements in close dialogue with the customer, project manager and business consultants
• Implement/deploy solutions
• Further develop and maintain solutions
• Estimate development tasks and scope in collaboration with your project team

We expect that

• you have a degree in computer science, engineering or similar at master's level with at least 3 years of experience in software development or
• you have a degree as a Diploma Engineer, computer scientist or similar at bachelor’s level with at least 6 years of experience in software development
• you can express yourself fluently in Danish and English, in writing and speaking.
• you have experience with Java and the Spring Framework
• you have experience developing web applications
• you have experience with relational databases and JPA or Hibernate
• you have experience working in an agile team

It would be advantageous if also

• you have experience with Groovy and Grails
• you have experience with JavaScript frameworks, e.g. Angular or Vue.js
• you have experience with test automation, e.g. Cucumber or Geb
• you have experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• you have one or more agile certifications
• you are willing and interested in learning other languages and technologies
