We are looking for skilled Solution Architects (Java) for Nine…

As a Solution Architect you play a central role in designing software-based solutions, naturally in close collaboration with their customers and the team attached to the project. You focus on the customer's needs and are therefore in contact with the customer several times a day – they often sit right next to you. But it isn't just about what needs to be done, but also how it should be done.

Their delivery model is based on agile collaboration with their customers. Nine sees customers and consultants as one united team, with common goals. As a rule they work "out" at the customer's site, and it is therefore important that you are approachable and have a positive attitude to the tasks. As a software architect you have a particular responsibility to contribute to the common team spirit across disciplines and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Your responsibility primarily covers software architecture, the technical solution design and ongoing technical clarifications as well as ensuring that the implementation is in accordance with the customer's expectations and the expectations for maintainable code. The solution architect can also in many situations actively participate in the delivery and help write the code.

As a solution architect at Nine, you have a responsibility to analyze, specify, keep up to date and establish architecture models for the execution of digital solutions in accordance with the business requirements, data infrastructure and policies in the project and with the customer.

You will typically have responsibility for multi-team setups, which work according to agile principles and can be a combination of the customer's and Nine's people. Your day-to-day will be characterized by close collaboration with project management, tech leads and the customer's business analysts among others.

We expect that

You have experience from a similar role, and are used to being responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and implementing the architecture of larger, complex solutions, with many surrounding system environments and many developers. Most importantly, you can communicate clearly and ensure that the customer is confident in the process and sufficiently involved. You should have experience with several software architecture models and understand how to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of different solutions, and always put quality first by ensuring good performance on all parameters.

• you are educated as computer scientist, engineer or similar at master's level
• you are perhaps a Lead Developer with architecture responsibility or technical project manager, and have at least 5 years of experience in this role.
• you can express yourself fluently in Danish and English, in writing and speaking.
• you are open to new technologies, paradigms and ways of working
• you are comfortable with the classic Java stack and the well-known architecture patterns

It would be an advantage if also

• you have experience in the consultant role
• you have experience with Java, Groovy and Grails
• you have experience with Docker, Jenkins and Kubernetes
• you have experience with JavaScript frameworks, e.g. Vue.js or Angular.
• you have one or more agile certifications
• you are willing and interested in learning other languages and technologies
