We are looking for relief staff for Holstedgaard in Næstved

We are looking for relief workers, preferably with health professional or pedagogical experience, who feel that the work with us makes sense.

We are located in Næstved and have 69 residents with various diagnoses within the psychiatric field. In addition, many of our residents also have health and lifestyle challenges.

Our residents are distributed across several teams. It is in these teams that there may be a need for you as a relief. You will never have to work alone, as there is always permanent staff on site. Our staff comprises a wonderful professional mix that helps create a safe working environment. Our teams are generally autonomous, but we help each other when there is a need.

Your main tasks with us will be

• To take on the tasks and duties that the team lacks, for example due to illness.
• To support our residents to have as normal a day as possible, which can also include help with personal hygiene and care.
• To help with practical tasks such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping and other everyday chores.

Your competencies

• Preferably education and/or experience within the health or pedagogical field.
• Have experience with or be open to personal care.
• Driven by working with people with different needs and challenges.
• Have an overview and can act independently as well as adapt to different tasks.
• You may have worked with or have knowledge of the principles of Low Arousal, Recovery and the KRAP model, but it is not a requirement.

The practical

• Working hours: The relief position includes both day shifts and evening shifts as well as weekends and holidays.
• Criminal record certificate: The position is covered by the law requiring a criminal record check. Employment can only begin when the certificate has been obtained.
• Driver's license: Not a requirement, but an advantage.
